The new 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C started as a “blank sheet of paper” in the design room. Alfa Romeo set out to build an “affordable supercar” and suspense has been building ever since. A taster of the completed 4C was given at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, two years after the concept car was shown at the same event.
Later this year at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the completed car will be revealed and available for purchase! It’s fitting that the new Alfa Romeo 4C supercar will debut at this iconic event which is a true celebration of motoring and innovation.
The cars to be shown at Goodwood will be part of a limited-run "Launch Edition" batch. Only 1,000 of these special editions will be built, of which, 400 will be made available to European buyers.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is a lightweight vehicle, based around a carbon-fibre chassis with an all-aluminium turbocharged 1.8-litre petrol engine capable of delivering 237bhp.
